We are proud to introduce RESISTA MG: a polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board specifically engineered for residential flat roof systems. It consists of a closed-cell PIR foam core laminated on both sides to a mineral-coated fiberglass facer for optimum compatibility with our fully adhered RubberCover EPDM membranes.

RESISTA MG provides long-lasting and stable performance, outstanding thermal and dimensional stability, as well as high compressive strength.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
  • Energy Saving
  • Suitable for new roofs and refurbishments
  • Optimum compatibility and adhesion performance with RubberCover EPDM membranes
  • Excellent thermal resistance
  • High compressive strength
  • Lightweight
  • Durable
  • Environmentally friendly – HCFC-free with low GWP (Global Warming Potential) and Zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential)
  • Total warm roof system combined with RubberCover EPDM waterproofing membrane and V-Gard self-adhesive AVCL (Air & Vapour Control Layer)

Installation

RESISTA MG boards can be installed using fasteners and plates or approved insulation adhesives. They must be protected from moisture during storage and until the roofing membrane is installed.

Substrates must be dry, smooth, level, free from contamination and sufficiently strong to fix the roof build-up. Acceptable types of roof decks are in-situ poured concrete, pre-cast concrete elements with and without pressure layer (screed), lightweight concrete slabs, profiled metal decks, sandwich panels and wooden decks (timber, plywood, OSB). Please refer to the Installation Guidelines or the Technical Information Sheets for detailed information.
