Located in the heart of San Juan, Argentina, the Velódromo Vicente Chancay is the largest velodrome in South America and a state-of-the-art facility. Part of the Bicentennial Stadium, it features a high-performance racing track, warm-up areas, and spectator stands, all designed for energy efficiency, scalability, and long-term durability.
The main building features a 160,000-square-foot distinctive curved roof. The roofing system, installed by licensed Elevate contractor Grupo Aislar, was designed for long-term performance and follows the continuous oval contour. This is the first velodrome in Argentina built to Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) standards.
With its innovative design, the Velódromo Vicente Chancay positions San Juan on the international cycling map, including hosting the 2025 Track World Championships.
