We’re pleased to announce the expansion of our SBS Premium portfolio, which now includes multiple system options featuring 3M™ Smog-Reducing Granules. These specialized granules incorporate a photocatalytic coating layer that is activated by sunlight to help transform smog pollution (nitrogen oxides, NOx) into water-soluble salts—a process that helps improve air quality while contributing to more sustainable building practices.

Inspired by the strength of nature, 20,000 square feet of roofing materials with 3M™ Smog-Reducing Granules have the smog-fighting power of 120 trees*. As the salts wash away with rainwater, the granules regenerate and continue to help reduce smog throughout the life of the roof.

Just like the rest of our SBS Premium portfolio, these new options are engineered for proven performance, durability, and reliability, meeting the same high standards and specifications our customers need.
