It unfolds as two distinct sections: the Wings and Court campuses, each spanning an area of around 60,000 square meters. The Wings campus, completed in 2016, serves as a hub for seamless operations, while the first phase of Court was finalized in 2019. Together, these sections form the backbone of Nike's cutting-edge distribution center, facilitating efficient logistics management and streamlining operations to meet the ever-increasing demands of the global market.
Central to the allure of the Logistics Campus is its meticulously designed roofing system, which had to meet a diverse range of demanding requirements. The chosen roofing membrane, Elevate’s UltraPly TPO, was chosen for its durability and versatility, providing excellent weather resistance and optimal energy management. Also, in adherence to stringent FM (Factory Mutual) requirements, a specific DensDeck Prime 5/8" (15.8 mm) cover board acts as a fire barrier beneath the roof waterproofing, seamlessly integrating with the solar panel infrastructure. This comprehensive approach not only ensures safety but also contributes to sustainable energy generation, underscoring Nike's commitment to reducing its environmental footprint.
As an ever-evolving project, the Nike European Logistics Campus remains at the forefront of innovation. With ongoing construction of High Bay 2 and 3 of the Court building, the campus demonstrates its commitment to adapt to emerging demands and technological advancements. These cutting-edge warehouses, boasting towering heights of 45 meters and covering an extensive floor area of 20,000 square meters, represent the future of automated storage and further exemplify Nike's dedication to sustainable development.
