NCO Academy Outside Atlanta, Georgia Located a couple hours from Atlanta, GA, NCO Academy is a United States Army Installation and the current home of the United States Army Signal Corps and Signal Center. It is a vibrant hub of professional Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Department of Defense Civilians and Contractors committed to excellence in protecting our nation. The main component of the post is the Advanced Individual Training for Signal Corps military occupational specialties NCO Academy consists of 14 buildings with approximately 200,000 square feet of 24-gauge steel, Elevate UNA-CLAD UC-4 roofing panels in colonial red Kynar 500/Hylar 5000 finish by Valspar. The durability and installation savings offered by the UC-4 system made it an ideal choice to replace the existing standing seam metal roofing system, which was fading and needed to be replaced. Unlike other roofing projects, the NCO Academy project presented a unique challenge in that roofing materials, deliveries and the crew itself required military clearance. The roof is UL certified and protected by a Elevate Red Shield 20-year Warranty.
