Meadowlands Expo Center Secaucus, New Jersey To kick off its extensive sustainable building program, New Jersey-based commercial real estate company Hartz Mountain Industries embarked on a multi-million dollar rooftop makeover of the Meadowlands Exposition Center. The project features 89,000 square feet of fully-adhered Elevate RubberGard EcoWhite EPDM system, quarter-inch-thick DensDeck Prime roof board over 2-inch ISO 95+ GL;polyiso insulation and SunPower photovoltaic (PV) panels covering nearly 75% of the roof surface. Hartz expects the PV system to supply 500,000 kilowatt hours of clean power, more than one quarter of the buildings annual electrical consumption.
