Telecommunications Company
Omaha, Nebraska
A well-known telecommunications company had two main goals when they needed to re-roof their information storage facility: First, to have a roof that provides continual performance; Second, to obtain protection through an unmatched warranty. Because the building contains critical customer information, it was imperative to use roofing materials that would provide durability and heightened protection against the elements.
Elevate worked with McKinnis Roofing to select products that would ensure long-term performance and protection for the data center. For durability, McKinnis installed 98,800 square feet of 80-mil UltraPly™ TPO Platinum™ membrane. Firestone V-Force™ Vapor Barrier Membrane served as a temporary roof during installation. McKinnis chose a 30-year PHW 100-mph wind speed warranty to protect the building’s important contents against high winds and hail. The team was careful to select mold-resistant products, such as ISOGARD™ HD Cover Board and two layers of 2.8? RESISTA™ polyiso insulation, in order prevent moisture accumulation.
